  1. MandelBrain 1.0ß24 release knots

  3. After having worked on MandelBrain in my spare time for several months, I have become less inspired and decided to take a break from it.  A number of people have made very positive comments about it and several have urged me to release it in its present form.

  5. This program seems to work well on the PowerMac 7100/66 that I use.  It has had some testing on a 68030 mac with an FPU.  It has had minimal testing on a Mac without an FPU.

  8. Obvious Deficiencies

  10. MandelBrain presently has the following obvious deficiencies.
  11.  
  12. • No fat binary.  Three seperate versions of the program are provided.
  13. • Printing/Page Setup commands do not work.
  14. • The hand cursor on the Navigation Tools window does nothing.
  15. • The History window does nothing useful.

  18. Changes Since 1.0ß23
  19.  
  20. • If you change the Inside Coloring or Outside Coloring, these are now saved as part of the document information.
  21. • The SaveAs dialog now allows saving a PICT file of the current displayed image.  (The PICT file will have SimpleText's creator and icon.)
  22. • Beefed up legal disclaimer to include even more legalese for unlikely events that only the stupidest person would try.
